Wayne Gretzky's childhood photo recreated Menu cover is all we had to begin the project!

We create a photo quality image from a lithographed menu cover.

Wayne Gretzky:
"The Great One" Many sportswriters consider him "the greatest hockey player ever". Through his hockey career; Wayne held 40 regular-season records, 15 playoff records, and 6 All-Star records. His remarkable ability to anticipate the play of the game and puck's location made him legendary. From Wayne's autobiography: "All I wanted to do in the winters was be on the ice. I'd get up in the morning, skate from 7:00 to 8:30, go to school, come home at 3:30, stay on the ice until my mom insisted I come in for dinner, eat in my skates, then go back out until 9:00. On Saturdays and Sundays we'd have huge games, but nighttime became my time. It was a sort of unwritten rule around the neighborhood that I was to be out there myself or with my dad."
We are asked to recreate his childhood photo.
Wayne opened a Toronto restaurant "Wayne Gretzky's". Menus are printed, featuring a childhood photo of Wayne. The original photo used for the menu cover becomes lost! My assignment is to create an authentic looking photo from the mid 1960's. The source for the restoration project-- a "tired" menu cover!
